About Our Brands

Rullow & Jacobs is proud to represent two of Sweden’s most respected independent furniture brands Massproductions and Hem. Both are Stockholm based, design led, and built on a belief that great furniture should be honest, lasting, and worth living with.

Based: Stockholm, Sweden

Founded: 2009

Founder: Chris Martin & Magnus Elebäck

Modern living room with curved cream-colored sofa, black coffee table with decorative objects, dark armchair, small glass side table, large floor-to-ceiling windows showing an outdoor patio with chairs and green yard.

Massproductions was founded in 2009 by Brit Chris Martin and Swede Magnus Elebäck, after a decade working together as consultants to the Swedish furniture industry. Their philosophy is simple: harness the quality and efficiency of volume production to create furniture that people are genuinely proud to own.

Drawing inspiration from the factory floor rather than artistic imagination, designer-in-chief Chris Martin describes his approach as “obvious design” — where form is a byproduct of function, material, and process. The result is a modernist collection that is tactile, considered, and built to last both physically and aesthetically.

HEM

Based: Stockholm, Sweden

Founded: 2015

Founder: Petrus Palmér

Living room with black sofa, green armchair, glass coffee table, plush carpet, potted plants, large window with open shutters, stereo equipment, and a vase with white flowers.

Hem — Swedish for “home” — is a Stockholm-based independent design brand founded in 2015. Working across furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories, Hem collaborates with progressive designers and leading European manufacturers to create original pieces for homes, workplaces and public spaces.

Known for its bold perspective and obsessive approach to quality, Hem has built an international presence with collections specified by architects, designers and private clients across more than 30 countries.

Rather than relying on a traditional in-house studio model, Hem operates as a platform for independent creative voices — bringing together distinct designers, strong manufacturing partners and a long-term view of design. The result is a collection shaped by clarity, character and longevity rather than trends or seasonal cycles.
